¶ The Barnabian Calendar
The calendar of this world is a two-cycle calendar. The below figure represents one full year. Years consist of 365 days and are broken into 12 months, with each month consisting of 3 10-day weeks for a total of 30 days per month. Dates are typically written in the format of “day of month, year”, e.g. 17th of Barncinder, 623. For common use, the year is typically omitted for brevity. The last 5 days of the calendar year are inserted between months and are treated as major holidays, and simply referred to by their name, e.g. Warsend of 984.
¶ Days of the week
Each day consists of 24 hours. Days are named after each of the commonly worshipped Dieties.

¶ Months of the year
Each month consists of exactly 30 days, subdivided into 10 day weeks. There are 3 weeks in a month. There are 12 months each year, and are grouped into four groups of three by primary season. Most, but not all, of the months are also named after gods.

¶ Holidays
5 days of the year are dedicated holidays. These days do not fall into any months on the calendar, but rather exist between months.

¶ Lunar Cycles
There is a New Moon on the 1st of every month and a Full Moon on the 16th of every month.
¶ Trivia
- While most months are named after commonly worshipped gods, there are two more months than commonly worshipped gods. The last two months names could be references to the two progenitor gods, Arkul and Khrona
- Removing the ‘d’ and re-arranging the letters of ‘Uldark’ allows you to spell ‘Arkul’. It's unknown if this is an intentional.
- The major holidays names are themed around the seasons and activities that take place then
- Warsend probably refers to a sort of victory against the “war” of winter
- Dawn's Fire probably refers to the start of the long, hot days of summer
- Midsummer probably refers to it being the… middle of summer.
- Despite being called Midsummer, it actually occurs ⅓ of the way through summer according to the calendar
- Highharvest probably refers to the height of the farmers harvests between summer and autumn
- Newdark probably refers to the beginning of a new, cold, dark winter.
